Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Marine Construction Carpenter to join our dynamic team dedicated to building and maintaining marine infrastructure projects. In this role, you will be responsible for executing precise carpentry and concrete work on marine construction sites, ensuring structures such as docks, piers, bulkheads, and seawalls are built to exact specifications. Your expertise in blueprint reading, formwork construction, rebar installation, and concrete finishing will be essential to delivering high-quality results safely and efficiently. Responsibilities Interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately execute project requirements. Construct formwork and molds for concrete pouring using hand tools and power tools while adhering to safety regulations. Install rebar reinforcement according to blueprint specifications to ensure structural integrity. Operate heavy machinery such as concrete mixers, concrete pumps, and other heavy equipment safely on-site. Perform concrete pouring, cutting, finishing, and plastering tasks with precision to meet project standards. Conduct masonry work including hardscape installation, flooring, and renovation tasks as needed. Follow all construction workplace safety regulations and protocols to maintain a safe environment for all team members. Experience Proven experience working on marine or heavy construction projects with a solid understanding of construction site safety practices. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems related to concrete mixing, pumping, cutting, and finishing processes. Demonstrated ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans accurately. Hands-on experience with carpentry techniques including formwork construction and masonry work. Familiarity with the use of hand tools, power tools, rebar installation techniques, and concrete finishing tools. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate heavy equipment such as cranes or forklifts when necessary.
