In this role, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, repairing, and maintaining structures and fixtures using a variety of hand and power tools. Your expertise will contribute to the successful completion of diverse projects, including metal building erection, concrete forming, framing, drywall installation, roofing, siding, and remodeling. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on challenging projects that require precision, craftsmanship, and a proactive approach to safety and quality. Duties Read and interpret detailed construction plans, schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure accurate execution of projects. Measure dimensions accurately using tape measures and other tools to cut materials precisely for framing, trim carpentry, drywall, stucco, or masonry work. Erect metal buildings and install metal stud framing with efficiency and safety in mind. Perform concrete forming, rebar installation, concrete finishing, and plastering tasks to create durable structures. Operate power tools such as saws, drills, grinders, and heavy equipment safely while maintaining their optimal condition. Execute roofing tasks including shingling or metal roofing installation; install siding and perform restoration or remodeling work as needed. Engage in heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks while adhering to safety protocols; assist with demolition or renovation projects when required. Collaborate with team members on construction management activities to ensure project timelines are met and quality standards are maintained. Maintain a clean and organized worksite by managing materials efficiently and ensuring compliance with safety regulations at all times. Experience Proven experience working on construction sites with a solid understanding of carpentry techniques across various disciplines such as framing, drywall installation, roofing, siding, and masonry. Demonstrated ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately; familiarity with interpreting construction plans is essential. Hands-on experience with metal building erection, concrete forming, rebar installation, plastering, and drywall finishing preferred. Skilled in operating hand tools (hammers, chisels), power tools (saws, drills), heavy equipment (forklifts or cranes), and other machinery relevant to construction work. Knowledge of construction safety standards including OSHA regulations; commitment to maintaining a safe working environment. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations necessary for precise craftsmanship; proficiency with tape measures and dimensional measurements is required. Ability to work effectively in diverse weather conditions while demonstrating physical stamina for heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing or walking.
