GLO Resources is hiring a Concrete Carpenter to work in Tampa, FL . The pay is between $20-$25 per hour based on experience. This position works full time Monday-Friday with some overtime and weekend work available based on the needs of the business.

Position Summary:

The ideal candidate will be a dependable and experienced Carpenter who can perform a variety of construction, installation, and repair duties involving wood, concrete, and other building materials. The successful candidate should be comfortable taking measurements, cutting and assembling materials, following construction plans, and completing work with a high degree of accuracy. Hands-on experience with concrete, including forming and structural applications, is preferred. This position works closely with other crew members to meet project deadlines while delivering quality workmanship and following established safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Build and assemble wood framing, structural components, and other construction elements Fabricate, position, and secure concrete forms in preparation for concrete placement Support concrete pouring, finishing, and other construction activities when needed Take precise measurements and cut, fit, and assemble materials to meet job requirements Review and follow construction plans, blueprints, diagrams, and project directions Properly operate and maintain hand tools, power tools, and other equipment Coordinate with coworkers and other trades to keep construction activities moving efficiently Keep tools, materials, and job sites orderly and free of unnecessary hazards Comply with company safety procedures, job-site requirements, and applicable regulations Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Previous hands-on carpentry experience with an emphasis on framing or structural construction Familiarity with concrete construction, including form building and concrete installation Ability to understand and work from blueprints, plans, and construction documents Strong ability to take accurate measurements and produce precise cuts and assemblies Experience using a variety of hand tools and power equipment safely Ability to communicate and work productively with a construction crew Demonstrated dependability, professionalism, and willingness to work hard Must be willing to complete a drug test during the onboarding process

Physical Requirements:

This position requires the ability to perform physically demanding tasks on a regular basis, including: Standing for extended periods. Regularly bending, kneeling, squatting, and working in various positions. Moving, pushing, and pulling heavy materials and equipment. Lifting and transporting materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
