This pivotal role demands a proactive leader with extensive construction site experience, exceptional management skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality craftsmanship on time and within budget. As a Turnkey Carpenter Superintendent, you will coordinate all aspects of carpentry work, manage subcontractors, ensure safety compliance, and uphold the highest standards of quality throughout the project lifecycle. Your expertise will drive project success while fostering a collaborative and safety-conscious work environment. Responsibilities Lead and supervise all carpentry activities on the construction site, ensuring adherence to project plans, schematics, and specifications. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and clients to develop detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar construction management software. Manage subcontractors and craft workers, providing clear direction, supervision, and quality control to meet project milestones. Oversee procurement of materials and tools, ensuring timely delivery and proper inventory management utilizing construction management software like ProCore or Bluebeam. Conduct regular safety inspections in compliance with OSHA standards; enforce safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment. Review blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings; interpret technical documents accurately for effective execution of carpentry tasks. Monitor project budgets and costs related to labor, materials, and equipment; implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality. Utilize tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing when necessary; ensure all work aligns with industry standards and client expectations. Maintain comprehensive documentation including daily reports, incident logs, quality control records, and progress updates. Qualifications Proven experience supervising heavy civil or commercial construction projects as a carpenter superintendent or similar leadership role. Extensive construction site experience with strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and construction estimating. Proficiency in construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Primavera, HeavyBid, or equivalent tools. Familiarity with contracts management and project scheduling techniques to ensure timely project delivery. Strong management skills with demonstrated ability to supervise teams effectively while fostering a safety-first culture. Knowledge of OSHA regulations and best practices for construction safety compliance. Skilled in using measurement tools such as ohmmeters; capable of conducting quality control inspections to meet industry standards. Excellent communication skills for coordinating with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and team members at all levels.
