  • Intermediate Level Carpenter We are looking for an aspiring carpenter to join our team as an Entry
  • Intermediate Level Carpenter.
We furnish you with the necessary technical skills to launch a rewarding career. While you do not need prior experience, you must have some training with power and hand tools. You will work under the supervision of a journeyman carpenter, assisting them in their duties while you train and gain a better understanding of your trade. An apprenticeship with our organization entails several years of on-the-job training and classroom instruction before taking the state licensing exam. Experience in residential construction is beneficial, especially in areas like siding or drywall installation. You need excellent communication skills to coordinate with other workers, such as electricians or construction managers.
Duties:
  • Assist in the construction, installation, and repair of structures and fixtures
  • Perform metal stud framing, ensuring all measurements are accurate and plumb
  • Assist with construction painting, including preparation and application of paint
  • Caulk and seal joints in structures to prevent water damage
  • Install siding and roofing materials according to specifications
  • Assist in remodeling projects, including demolition and reconstruction
  • Assist with heavy lifting of materials and equipment as needed
  • Fabricate and install various components as directed by the
Carpenter Skills:
  • Basic knowledge of carpentry techniques and tools
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require heavy lifting and prolonged standing
  • Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment Qualifications but not required:
  • 1-3 years carpentry, contruction experience
  • High School diploma
Note:
This position is an apprentice role, so on-the-job training will be provided. The Carpenter Apprentice will work under the guidance of experienced carpenters to develop their skills in the restoration industry.
Operation hours:
Monday
  • Friday:
    7:00 am
  • 4:00 pm (1 hour lunch break)
  • Occasionally on the weekends when required.
