Job Description
Carpenter, Full-Time, Oahu Waipi'o, HI Full-time Full-time Position Overview Join a team that takes pride in building quality. As a Carpenter, you'll perform skilled rough and finish carpentry on a variety of residential and commercial projects while working alongside experienced professionals who value craftsmanship, safety, and teamwork. You'll have the opportunity to build your skills, take ownership of your work, and contribute to projects that make a lasting impact in our communities. This position will contribute in the following ways: Perform rough and finish carpentry on residential and commercial construction projects. Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and project specifications. Measure, cut, assemble, and install framing, siding, trim, doors, windows, cabinetry, blocking, and other structural and finish components. Complete demolition, repairs, renovations, and remodeling work as needed. Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment. Deliver high-quality workmanship while meeting project schedules and company standards. Identify material needs, field issues, and potential safety concerns, and communicate them proactively. Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites. Support and mentor less experienced team members by sharing knowledge and best practices. Perform other duties as assigned to support successful project completion. Qualifications & Core Competencies Required Competencies High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Minimum two (2) years of carpentry or general construction experience. Working knowledge of residential and commercial construction methods. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and common construction equipment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality workmanship. Reliable, dependable, and able to work independently while contributing to a team environment. Ability to regularly lift up to 75 pounds. Ability to climb ladders, work at heights, and perform physically demanding work in varying weather conditions.
