We work closely with owners, architects and the entire planning team well before ground is broken; providing cost analyses, scheduling information, and value engineering services to ensure that our client can make informed decisions leading to a timely finish of the highest quality and the best value. Summary This position will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and installing structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and other materials. You should be detail-oriented, knowledgeable about woodworking techniques, and comfortable working with power tools and machinery. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications. Install structures such as doors, windows, flooring, cabinets, and framework. Repair and maintain structures, and fixtures. Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently. Ensure all work is completed following safety regulations and industry standards. Collaborate with other construction professionals to complete projects on time. Estimate material requirements and order supplies as needed. Maintain a clean and organized job site. Ensure that tools and materials are stored properly. Keep job site, streets, and sidewalks clean and clear of construction debris. Determine the layout and placement of building materials and components as required by the specifications and work schedules using levels, rules, plumb bobs, framing squares, and any other necessary surveying equipment. Accurately measure, cut, shape wood, plastic, and other building materials. Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
1+ years experience in same or similar role Proficient with quality framing and finish carpentry work Ability to read blueprints and spec book General knowledge of preinstalls Demonstrated computer proficiency (MS Office 365
  • Word, Excel and Outlook) Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service Ability to use time productively, maximize efficiency and meet challenging work goals Ability to maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures Ability to possess and maintain exceptional work ethic as well as uphold company values and demand the highest standard of conduct from self and others

Valid Driver's License and ability to maintain a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record. Travel to job sites 100%

Must work and climb on a jobsite to review or inspect work progress.
