Superior Skilled Trades is seeking Carpenters for an immediate start in Northeast & Central Iowa!
    PAY:
    $35/hour
      PER DIEM
      Hotel provided (Sunday-Thursday) + $35/day for days worked, travel paid for one way
        HOURS:
        Expected shifts will be 12-hour workdays; approximately 42-52 hours/week
          SCHEDULE
          Monday-Thursday, 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM, with occasional Fridays
            START DATE

              Carpenter Job Description:
              Superior Skilled Trades is hiring experienced Carpenters to assist with the construction of gas stations throughout Northeast and Central Iowa. Carpenters will perform commercial wood framing, install roof trusses, complete wall and roof sheathing, and assist with all phases of structural carpentry. Projects typically last a few weeks per site before crews move to the next location. The next project location is near Evansdale, IA. Qualifications for
              Carpenter:
              • 3+ years of commercial or residential carpentry experience
              • Experience with stick framing, truss installation, and sheathing
              • Ability to read and work from construction plans is preferred
              • Must be able to safely use hand and power tools
              • Must have basic carpentry hand tools
              • Must be able to perform job duties requiring standing, bending, kneeling, climbing ladders, working at heights, and lifting up to 50 lbs. unassisted
              • Position requires the use of PPE including steel-toe boots, hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, and high-visibility vest Additional Requirements for
              Carpenter:
              • Must be eligible to work in the United States
              • Must have reliable transportation
              • Must live within approximately a 5-hour driving radius of the project locations
