Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Carpenter to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing a wide range of carpentry tasks with precision and craftsmanship, ensuring that all projects meet quality standards and safety regulations. Responsibilities Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately execute project specifications. Measure, cut, assemble, and install various wood and metal components using hand tools and power tools for woodworking. Perform framing work including metal stud framing, concrete forming, and rebar installation for structural support. Install doors, windows, cabinets, flooring, drywall, trim, stucco, tile, and other finishing elements with precision. Operate woodworking machines safely to cut and shape wood materials for custom projects. Conduct heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks while maintaining safety standards on-site. Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to ensure timely completion of construction phases. Requirements Proven experience in residential carpentry, framing, drywall installation, or restoration projects. Proficiency in reading blueprints and construction plans; ability to interpret technical drawings accurately. Skilled in using hand tools such as saws, hammers, chisels as well as power tools including drills, saws, sanders for woodworking. Knowledge of construction estimating processes and material specifications including wood construction materials. Familiarity with power tool safety protocols and proper handling of woodworking machines. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work effectively at heights or in confined spaces when required.
