In this role, you will be actively involved in a variety of construction projects, from framing and trim carpentry to concrete forming and restoration work. Your expertise will help bring building visions to life, ensuring quality craftsmanship and safety on every site. Paid training and ongoing development are integral parts of this role, supporting your growth in the construction industry. Responsibilities Assisting with installation of Commercial Refrigeration Systems/Cold Storage Buildings Studies Blueprints, sketches and building plans for information pertaining to erecting Cold Storage Buildings and Cold Storage boxes. Prepares layout using tape measure, levels, lasers and carpentry tools. Job site cleanup and material handling Basic construction skills (drilling, cutting, demo, etc.) Experience with tools Supporting lead techs and installers as directed Working both indoors and outdoors Basic construction experience needed Hard worker - not afraid of physical work Ability to lift 50+ lbs Reliable transportation Willing to learn and take direction Refrigeration experience/Carpentry experience/Construction experience needed Show up on time, everyday ( this is non-negotiable) Opportunity to move up quickly if you show up on time and work Experience Prior experience working on commercial construction sites is highly desirable. Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical drawings is desirable. Hands-on experience with carpentry disciplines such as trim carpentry, framing carpentry, metal stud framing, and cabinetry is preferred. Knowledge of using hand tools (saws, hammers, chisels) and power tools (drills, saws) Operating equipment, (scissor lifts, fork lifts, snorkels) is desirable. Basic understanding of electrical or plumbing systems is advantageous but not mandatory; relevant experience will be considered favorably.

$24.00 - $35.00 per hour
