Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and experienced Construction Laborer / Carpenter to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be instrumental in executing residential and commercial projects, utilizing your carpentry skills and construction knowledge to deliver high-quality results. Your expertise in interpreting technical drawings, handling hand and power tools, and working safely on construction sites will ensure projects are completed efficiently, accurately, and to the highest standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to diverse building projects while honing your craft in a fast-paced, energetic environment. Duties Measure, cut, assemble, and install wood framing, cabinetry, doors, trim, drywall, flooring, tile, stucco, and other wood construction materials Operate hand tools and power tools for woodworking and framing tasks safely and effectively Prepare construction sites by setting up scaffolding, rebar installation for concrete forms, or other necessary structures Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment while adhering to safety protocols including power tool safety standards Assist with concrete forming, plastering, rebar placement, drywall installation, caulking, stucco application, and restoration work as needed Install cabinets, hang doors, lay flooring or tile, and complete finishing touches for residential or commercial projects Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and materials regularly on-site Follow all safety guidelines related to power tools and construction site procedures to prevent accidents or injuries Qualifications Proven experience in construction with a focus on carpentry or woodworking; residential carpentry experience is highly preferred Strong knowledge of construction estimating processes and interpreting technical drawings Skilled in using hand tools such as saws, hammers, chisels as well as power tools including drills, saws for woodworking and framing equipment Familiarity with woodworking machines and metal stud framing techniques Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining proper ergonomics Experience with drywall installation, caulking, stucco application, rebar installation or concrete forming is a plus Knowledge of construction site safety protocols including power tool safety standards Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in following construction plans accurately Valid experience in the restoration industry or handyman work is advantageous Join our team if you're eager to bring your craftsmanship to life on diverse building projects!
