Job Description

Gem State Staffing - Payette is seeking Framers to join our construction team. As a Framer, you will be responsible for constructing the structural framework of residential, commercial, or agricultural buildings. This includes measuring, cutting, assembling, and installing wood or metal framing components according to blueprints and building codes.
Key Responsibilities:
Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and building plans. Measure, cut, and assemble lumber or metal studs to build walls, floors, and roofs. Install door and window frames, subfloors, staircases, and other structural components. Use hand and power tools such as saws, hammers, drills, and nail guns safely and effectively. Ensure structures are level, square, and securely fastened. Follow all safety procedures and regulations on the job site. Collaborate with other construction professionals, including carpenters, electricians, and plumbers. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Inspect and repair existing framing when needed.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a framer or similar role in construction. Ability to read and understand construction blueprints and technical drawings. Proficient in the use of framing tools and equipment. Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy materials and work at heights. Excellent understanding of safety rules and regulations. Good math and measuring skills. High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training is a plus. Valid driver's license may be required.
Working Conditions:
Standing, climbing, and lifting for extended periods. Use of protective gear such as hard hats, gloves, and safety glasses. Requirements Must have minimum 1 year framing experience Must have your own hand tools/bags (pneumatic/electrical tools provided) Must have your own transportation to/from worksite each day Must pass pre-employment drug screen Ability to lift 50-75 lbs regularly Details $25.00/hr to start Mon-Fri work schedule Weekly payroll schedule Long-term work opportunity with an excellent contractor How to
