Job Description

Job Overview Bogadi Construction & Development is seeking a motivated and skilled Carpenter/Laborer to join our construction team. This role offers an opportunity to work on a variety of residential and custom home projects, bringing craftsmanship and efficiency to every task. The ideal candidate will be reliable, detail-oriented, and eager to contribute to high-quality building and renovation efforts. Whether you're experienced in framing, finish carpentry, or general labor, this position provides a platform to develop your skills while making a tangible impact on our projects. Duties Interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately execute project specifications. Use hand tools and power tools for woodworking, framing, trim carpentry, cabinet installation, door hanging, and other carpentry tasks. Operate woodworking machines safely and efficiently to cut, shape, and assemble wood construction materials. Prepare job sites by measuring, cutting, assembling components, and ensuring all safety protocols are followed during power tool use. Support heavy lifting activities and material handling to ensure smooth workflow on construction sites. Requirements Experience in construction environments with knowledge of residential carpentry and site safety practices. Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings accurately. Proficiency with hand tools such as saws, hammers, chisels as well as power tools for woodworking and framing. Familiarity with woodworking machines and construction materials used in building projects. Strong understanding of power tool safety standards and proper handling techniques. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work at heights or in confined spaces as needed. $20.00 - $40.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
