[Leapros] Leapros Skilled Trades is actively hiring Residential Carpenter in Elgin, IL. We are seeking a skilled Residential Carpenter to support high-end residential construction and renovation projects in Elgin, IL. This role is ideal for a craftsman with a strong background in custom home building and luxury finishes who can deliver precision work on complex residential designs.

Per Hour BOE Responsibilities:

Perform high-precision rough and finish carpentry on luxury residential projects. Install custom millwork, cabinetry, crown molding, and intricate trim packages. Read and interpret detailed architectural blueprints and design specifications. Execute framing, window installations, and door hanging to exact tolerances. Conduct layout, measurements, and material takeoffs for custom installations. Collaborate with project leads and other specialized trades to ensure seamless project execution. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional job site suitable for high-end residential environments. Ensure all work meets strict quality standards and local building codes.

Qualifications:

Significant experience in residential carpentry, specifically within high-end or luxury markets. Expertise in finish carpentry and the installation of high-grade materials. Proficiency with a wide range of carpentry hand and power tools. Demonstrated ability to read and execute complex construction drawings. Ability to work independently while maintaining high standards of craftsmanship. Reliable transportation and the ability to commute to project sites in the Elgin area.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds independently. Capability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and kneel for extended shifts. Balance and agility for working on ladders and scaffolding at various heights. Manual dexterity for precise tool operation and handling of delicate materials. Exposure to typical construction site environments, including dust and varying temperatures. Ability to enter and work in confined spaces such as attics or crawlspaces when necessary.

Pay Transparency:

The anticipated pay range for this position is $20 to $30 per hour, based on relevant factors such as experience, skills, education, internal equity, and geographic location. Final compensation will be determined during the interview process by the hiring authority.
