Dale's Remodeling & Repairs is looking for a dependable, hardworking Carpenter to join our growing remodeling team. We are open to both entry-level and experienced candidates. If you have construction or remodeling experience, we want to hear from you. If you are newer to the trade but are motivated, dependable, willing to learn, and ready to work, we are willing to train the right person. Experienced Carpenter PAY:

$15-$20 per hour, based on relevant experience, remodeling/construction skills, work history, references, demonstrated abilities, and personal tools.

JOB LOCATION

Actual job sites vary throughout the South Suburbs and Chicago area . Applicants must be able to reliably travel to assigned job sites.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Assist with residential and commercial remodeling projects Perform general carpentry and remodeling work Assist with framing and finish carpentry Install and repair flooring Hang, finish, and repair drywall Perform drywall mudding and taping Install tile and perform grouting Assist with bathroom and kitchen remodeling Perform painting and related finishing work Assist with demolition and removal of existing materials Load, unload, move, and organize tools and materials Keep jobsites clean, organized, and safe Maintain and properly care for tools and equipment Assist with material and tool organization/inventory when needed Follow instructions and work effectively as part of a remodeling team Perform other general remodeling and construction duties as assigned

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Must be 18 years of age or older Previous construction or remodeling experience is preferred, but not required Carpentry, framing, drywall, tile, flooring, painting, or remodeling experience is a plus Apprentice-level and experienced carpenters are encouraged to apply Reliable and dependable Punctual and ready to work when scheduled Willing to learn and take direction Able to communicate clearly and professionally Professional attitude and appearance Able to arrive prepared for the workday with appropriate work boots and safety gear Reliable transportation to assigned job sites Personal construction tools are a plus Comfortable working in residential and commercial remodeling environments Interested in long-term employment and growing with the company
