In this role, you will be responsible for executing a wide range of carpentry tasks on commercial projects, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and adherence to safety standards. Your expertise will contribute to the successful completion of building structures, renovations, and restorations across various commercial sites. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects that challenge your skills and expand your experience in the construction industry. Responsibilities Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately execute carpentry tasks. Measure, cut, assemble, and install metal and other building materials using hand tools and power tools for woodworking. Construct frameworks, including metal stud framing, wall partitions, and support structures for commercial buildings. Install doors, windows, trim, drywall, flooring, and fixtures with precision and attention to detail. Operate woodworking machines safely to produce high-quality wood components for various projects. Follow construction plans meticulously while adhering to power tool safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment. Skills Strong knowledge of construction estimating processes and interpreting technical drawings. Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding construction plans for residential and commercial projects. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools for woodworking, and woodworking machines safely and effectively. Extensive construction site experience with a focus on carpentry including framing, drywall installation, trim carpentry, and fixture installation. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining proper technique during material handling. Experience with metal stud framing, door hanging, drywall and flooring installation. Strong understanding of power tool safety standards along with experience operating various power tools for carpentry tasks. Ability to interpret technical drawings accurately for precise execution of projects in the remodeling or restoration industry.
