Job Summary Join our residential remodeling team as a dependable, motivated Construction Laborer/Carpenter Assistant. This entry-level role is ideal for someone with basic construction or carpentry knowledge who wants to learn through hands-on work. Experience is helpful but not required. You will move materials, set up and clean jobsites, assist with demolition, and support carpentry and installation work under the direction of the owner or jobsite lead. Responsibilities Load, unload and move materials, tools and equipment. Set up, protect and clean work areas. Keep jobsites safe, organized and free of debris. Assist with demolition, carpentry, installation and punch-list work. Help install materials as directed. Follow plans, safety rules and quality standards. Learn new methods and apply coaching and feedback. Help keep projects moving on schedule. Qualifications Construction or remodeling experience is helpful but not required. Basic knowledge of hand and power tools preferred. Strong work ethic and willingness to perform physical work. Dependable, punctual and ready to start on time. Able to follow directions, remember instructions and learn quickly. Willing to ask questions and accept coaching. Able to complete assigned tasks with limited supervision. Committed to treating clients' homes and property with respect. Physical Requirements Stay active and on your feet for most of the workday. Regularly lift and carry materials, tools and debris. Work around dust, noise, stairs and changing temperatures. Safely perform required physical tasks. You complete basic tasks without repeated reminders, can ask for help when needed and want to learn more about construction and carpentry.
