This is a hands-on position for someone who can read construction plans, perform high-quality carpentry and take ownership of daily jobsite operations from demolition through final punch-list completion. Primary Responsibilities Perform demolition and site-preparation work. Perform carpentry, installation, jobsite protection, cleanup and punch-list work. Read and interpret construction plans, specifications and related documents. Document project progress, client selections, field problems and potential change-order work. Maintain jobsite safety, cleanliness and quality standards. Direct the project alongside the owner from initial site preparation through final punch-list completion. Provide owner with a concise daily update covering completed work, upcoming needs, schedule status and any decisions or problems requiring his attention. Compensation starts at $27.50 per hour and is commensurate with experience, demonstrated carpentry ability and prior responsibility for residential construction jobsites.
