Sorry—no crabapples allowed. You do not like working with people. This is a communication- and leadership-centered position. You need someone to tell you what to do every minute of the day. You are unwilling to take responsibility for the quality, productivity, and profitability of your projects. You have no desire to grow with the company. We are building something big, and we want team members who are excited to grow with us. You are looking for perfectly set hours every day. Construction schedules can change because of weather, job conditions, materials, and client needs. You are unwilling to work outdoors in heat, cold, or changing weather conditions. You are not detail-oriented. Our clients expect excellent craftsmanship, professional job sites, and work that is built to last. You are unwilling to follow established systems, document your work, and communicate clearly. You are uncomfortable leading a crew, holding people accountable, and having honest conversations when something needs to improve. We do not currently offer a company health-insurance plan. Instead, we work to pay above-industry wages so employees can select coverage that fits their families. We do not currently offer a 401(k), although establishing one is part of a future phase of our business plan. Now Let's Talk About the Good Stuff As a team, we are faithfully pursuing the 3
