CoBeck Construction has an immediate full-time career opportunity for an experienced Carpenter to meet our current workload demands and future growth opportunities. This position will be based out of Fishers, Indiana office. Duties and Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project plans to meet specifications. Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures, steel stud framing, minor masonry work and concrete. Proficient at light cabinetry and millwork. Operate and maintain a variety of hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery safely and efficiently. Collaborate with project managers, other trades, and apprentices to ensure timelines and quality standards are met. Measure, cut, and assemble materials with precision to ensure a perfect fit and finish. Troubleshoot and adapt plans on-site to address unexpected challenges without compromising quality. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards. Requirements and Qualifications Proven experience as a carpenter in residential and/or commercial construction. Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques, materials, and construction methods. Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints. Proficiency with a wide range of carpentry tools and equipment. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Physical stamina and dexterity to handle demanding tasks in various environments. A team-oriented mindset and a commitment to delivering exceptional work. OSHA certification and other relevant safety training are preferred. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed. Physical Requirements Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds. May be exposed to extreme conditions (hot or cold) Must be willing to work non-traditional hours to meet project needs.
