Duties Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute project specifications. Perform concrete forming, rebar installation, concrete finishing, and masonry work to ensure durable and precise results. Erect metal buildings and siding by following detailed blueprints and schematics. Operate heavy equipment safely for tasks such as lifting heavy materials or assisting with roofing and restoration projects. Install trim carpentry elements like doors, windows, moldings, and cabinetry with precision. Conduct drywall installation, plastering, stucco application, and siding work to achieve smooth finishes. Use basic math skills for dimensional measurements, layout work, and material calculations. Maintain safety standards by adhering to OSHA regulations during all phases of construction. Experience Proven experience in carpentry or related construction roles with a strong understanding of construction site operations. Skilled in metal building erection, concrete forming, rebar installation, roofing, drywall finishing, and siding installation. Proficient in blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings or schematics. Familiarity with hand tools such as saws, hammers, chisels; power tools including drills and saws; as well as heavy equipment operation when necessary. Knowledge of construction management principles is a plus but not required. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during all phases of construction work. Experience with remodeling projects or restoration work is advantageous. Strong communication skills for collaborating with team members and interpreting technical instructions accurately.
