Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and skilled Carpenter/Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of carpentry and labor tasks on residential and commercial projects. Your expertise will help ensure that projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards of quality. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a dedicated team on diverse construction tasks, from framing to finishing touches, contributing directly to the creation and restoration of beautiful, functional spaces. Duties Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to execute project specifications accurately. Use hand tools and power tools for woodworking, framing, trim carpentry, cabinet installation, and fixture setup. Perform heavy lifting and physical tasks such as rebar installation, drywall installation, stucco application, and masonry work. Operate woodworking machines safely to cut, shape, and assemble wood construction materials for framing and finishing projects. Install various building components including metal studs, drywall, mold remediation materials, and other wood or metal fixtures. Assist with construction estimating by measuring materials needed for projects and preparing job site setups in accordance with construction plans. Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to power tool safety protocols and ensuring proper handling of all equipment. Support restoration industry tasks such as mold remediation or structural repairs as needed on project sites. Collaborate with team members on site to ensure timely completion of tasks while maintaining high safety standards. Skills Strong knowledge of construction estimating, blueprint reading, and interpreting technical drawings. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools for woodworking, and woodworking machines. Experience in residential carpentry including framing, trim carpentry, cabinetry, and fixture installation. Familiarity with construction site safety practices related to power tools and heavy lifting. Ability to perform masonry work, rebar installation, drywall finishing, caulking, stucco application, and masonry repairs. Experience working on construction sites with a focus on wood construction materials and metal stud framing. Knowledge of mold remediation techniques and restoration industry standards is a plus. Pay:
$25.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 35.0 per week
