This role is hands-on, building and assembling custom projects with precision and pride. If you enjoy working with your hands, solving problems on the fly, and bringing quality craftsmanship to every job, this could be the right fit for you. Check us out at Hamilton-ex.com and see where this role can take you! Position available for a trade show fabricator with experience in carpentry, cabinetry, or woodworking. This fabricator will be responsible for constructing, erecting, installing, and repairing some incredible designs for trade show exhibits, permanent installations, and more! Workdays are 8 hours with a start between 4am and 6:30am with OT expectations. Starting salary is based on experience.
Responsibilities :
Construct and repair trade show exhibits, permanent installations, and events Required to effectively communicate and collborate with team members in other departments, such as Account Management and Engineering Use project management skills, following each step through to timely completion in order to meet deadlines Determine materials needs, check available stock, and order as appropriate Use appropriate tools for measuring, cutting, shaping, and assembling a variety of materials Maintain a safe and clean working environment, complying with all rules and regulations
Qualifications :
Some experience required in cabinetry, carpentry, industry trade school, or a combination of education and work experience, with a working knowledge of basic construction - We will teach you the rest! MUST be available to work overtime as needed - typically peak season from November to March (overtime is determined by workload) Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine specifications and materials required Ability to travel offsite to support Hamilton's established pillars (Exhibits, Environments, Event, Mobile, Digital) Working knowledge and experience using hand and power tools Must be able to handle multiple projects with strict deadlines Must be extremely detail-oriented and well-organized to meet high-quality standards Proactive and works efficiently and accurately under pressure Motivated with a positive attitude, works with others as part of a team Excellent verbal and written communication skills Experience with permanent installations is a plus Opportunity to travel to support exhibits and permanent installations Start between 4a-6:30a 8-hour shifts with breaks and mandatory OT when required
