Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and skilled Carpenter/Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of carpentry and labor tasks that support residential and commercial projects. Your expertise will help ensure projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to high-quality standards. Duties Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute project specifications accurately. Operate hand tools and power tools for woodworking, framing, trim carpentry, cabinet installation, door hanging Perform heavy lifting, material handling, and site cleanup to maintain a safe and organized work environment. Install siding, stucco, roofing, flooring, tile, drywall (including plastering), and other wood or metal construction materials. Support concrete forming, rebar installation, masonry work, and water damage restoration tasks. Follow safety protocols related to power tool use, power tool safety standards, scaffolding setup, and site safety regulations. Assist in remodeling projects including restoration work such as mold remediation or water damage repair. Contribute to the installation of windows, doors, cabinetry, fixtures, siding, and metal studs as required by project specifications. Skills Proficiency with hand tools (saws, hammers, chisels) and power tools for woodworking and framing applications. Experience with residential carpentry including trim work, cabinet installation, door hanging, flooring installation, and siding. Familiarity with construction plans including blueprints for framing, roofing, masonry, electrical layouts, plumbing schematics, and restoration industry standards Knowledge of heavy lifting techniques and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Understanding of construction site safety protocols including power tool safety standards. Experience in various trades such as masonry, plumbing, electrical work or manufacturing is advantageous. Ability to interpret technical drawings accurately for precise fabrication or installation tasks.
