  • 22 per hour to start Annual bonus oppurtunity $4,000 retention bonus Olathe, KS Job Summary J Thomas Home is looking for a production worker level II in our Olathe, KS, location.

On top of hourly pay there is a $4,000 retention bonus and up to a 40% annual bonus. J Thomas Home is an industrial furniture and home decor design and manufacturing company. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Cutting, sanding, staining, clear coating, and assembling of wood and metal into industrial home decor pieces.
  • Putting away or stocking inbound materials.
  • Perform regular inspections, routine maintenance, and cleaning of equipment.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
  • Analytical Skills
  • ability to use thinking and reasoning to solve a problem.
  • Attention to detail
  • ensure we're producing quality pieces.
  • Must have skills working with basic wood working and finishing tools.
  • Must be able to work in a team environment.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of times.
  • Strong attendance record
  • On-time and dependable
Job Type:
Full-time Education:
High school diploma or GED.
Experience:
Knowledge of carpentry or construction is a plus. J Thomas Home maintains a drug-free workforce in as safe of working environment as possible, including pre-employment substance abuse testing.
