CARPENTER

Harbin Construction is a well-established general contractor in Central Kansas looking for the right person to join our team in the field. Now in our 73rd year of building, we are seeking an individual who wants to continue learning, grow in skill and knowledge, and build something every day that matters. The Carpenter is an important part of Harbin's field team and is responsible for performing quality commercial construction work across a variety of projects. Our Carpenters work in multiple areas of the trade, including layout, framing, concrete-related work, doors and hardware, blocking, specialties, finish work, renovations, demolition, and other general construction activities. Commercial construction experience is preferred. Candidates should demonstrate solid carpentry skills, the ability to read and understand construction drawings, dependable work habits, a commitment to safety and quality, and a willingness to work as part of a team.
