Duties Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately execute framing projects. Construct wall frames, roof trusses, floor joists, and other structural components using hand tools and power tools with precision. Erect metal buildings and install metal stud framing efficiently while adhering to safety standards. Perform concrete forming and rebar installation to support foundation and structural elements. Operate heavy equipment safely for lifting and positioning materials; manage material handling, including heavy lifting tasks. Follow construction plans meticulously while ensuring dimensional measurements meet specifications; utilize tape measures and basic math skills for accuracy. Assist with roofing, masonry work, restoration projects, and remodeling efforts as needed to support project completion. Maintain a clean job site by organizing tools and materials; adhere strictly to safety protocols at all times. Experience Proven experience in frame carpentry or related construction roles with a focus on residential or commercial projects. Skilled in metal building erection, concrete forming, rebar installation, masonry work, roofing, drywall installation, and siding. Proficient in blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings or schematics. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation, and construction site safety procedures. Ability to perform dimensional measurements accurately using tape measures and other measuring devices; basic math skills are essential. Experience with steel stud framing, drywall finishing, plastering, stucco application, trim carpentry, and remodeling is highly desirable. Strong understanding of construction management principles; ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments.
