Responsibilities Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to understand project requirements. Perform rough and finish carpentry tasks, ensuring a high level of craftsmanship and attention to detail. Collaborate with other tradespeople, including electricians and plumbers, to ensure seamless project execution. Provide estimates for project timelines and material costs, managing resources effectively. Requirements Proven experience as a carpenter in residential and commercial construction. Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques and methods, including framing, finish work, and cabinetry. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and technical drawings. Familiarity with building codes and safety regulations related to carpentry work. Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools common in the carpentry trade.
