Carpenter / Laborer

Overview Join our dynamic construction team as a Carpenter / Laborer, where you'll play a vital role in building, restoring, and maintaining a variety of structures. Duties Measure, cut, assemble, and install framing, trim, cabinetry, siding, and fixtures using hand tools and power tools. Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute project specifications. Perform concrete forming, masonry work, rebar installation, and roofing tasks with precision and safety. Assist in restoration projects including water damage remediation, mold removal, plastering, stucco application, and water damage restoration. Fabricate custom components through woodworking and metal fabrication techniques; install doors, windows, fixtures, and cabinetry. Handle heavy lifting safely while maintaining adherence to safety protocols on construction sites. Conduct demolition, site cleanup, and prepare surfaces for finishing work such as painting or caulking. Support various trades including plumbing, electrical work, masonry, tile laying, flooring installation, siding installation, and metal stud framing as needed. Experience Proven construction site experience with a strong understanding of safety procedures and OSHA standards. Skilled in the use of hand tools (hammers, saws, chisels) and power tools (drills, saws, grinders). Experience reading blueprints or schematics for accurate project execution. Knowledge of construction estimating processes is a plus. Familiarity with restoration industry practices including mold remediation and water damage restoration is desirable. Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks consistently. Prior experience in carpentry specialties such as trim carpentry, framing carpentry, cabinet installation or roofing is highly valued.
