About the Role We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Carpenter to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in various aspects of carpentry, including concrete forming and finishing, framing, trim work, drywall installation, and remodeling projects. This role requires a strong understanding of construction plans, technical drawings, and the safe operation of hand and power tools. The Carpenter will be responsible for executing high-quality craftsmanship on diverse projects, ensuring safety standards are met, and contributing to the successful completion of construction tasks across residential, commercial, and industrial sites. What You'll Do Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans to determine project requirements. Measure, cut, assemble, and install building materials such as wood, metal studs, drywall, siding, and framing components. Perform rebar installation, concrete forming, and concrete finishing as needed. Operate hand tools (saws, hammers, chisels) and power tools safely and efficiently to complete tasks accurately. Ability to operate light civil equipment when necessary for site preparation or material handling. Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and maintains a clean work environment. Accurately perform dimensional measurements using tape measures and other tools to ensure precision in all tasks. Collaborate with project managers and team members to meet project deadlines while maintaining quality standards. Assist in interpreting technical drawings and construction plans to execute projects correctly from start to finish. What You Bring Proven experience in construction includes framing (wood and metal stud), drywall installation and remodeling. Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings; ability to interpret construction plans accurately. Skilled in using hand tools (saws, hammers) and power tools safely; familiarity with heavy equipment operation is a plus. Strong knowledge of rebar installation, concrete forming/finishing, and restoration techniques. Ability to perform dimensional measurements precisely using tape measures and other measuring devices. Experience with framing carpentry (including frame carpentry) and drywall installation. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to construction tasks. Capable of heavy lifting safely; physically fit for demanding tasks on construction sites. Construction site experience with a focus on safety protocols and efficient workflow management. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret technical drawings accurately for proper execution of projects.
