Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and skilled Carpenter/Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. Responsibilities Interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately execute project specifications. Operate hand tools and power tools for woodworking, framing, drywall installation, trim carpentry, and fixture mounting. Measure, cut, assemble, and install wood and other building materials for framing, siding, flooring, cabinetry, and molding. Assist with concrete forming, rebar installation, plastering, stucco application, masonry work, and water damage restoration efforts. Perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks required for construction site activities. Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to power tool safety protocols and proper handling of construction materials. Support remodeling projects by installing doors, windows, cabinets, flooring, and other fixtures with precision. Fabricate components using woodworking machines or CNC equipment as needed for custom projects. Assist in restoration industry tasks such as mold remediation and water damage repair to ensure quality outcomes. Collaborate with team members to interpret construction plans accurately and execute tasks efficiently on-site. Experience Prior construction experience with residential carpentry or general contracting is highly preferred. Demonstrated proficiency in blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings. Hands-on experience with hand tools and power tools used in woodworking and framing. Knowledge of wood construction materials including drywall, siding, trim components, and metal studs. Familiarity with heavy lifting techniques and safety procedures related to construction sites. Experience in installation of fixtures such as doors, cabinets, flooring, and moldings. Background in remodeling or restoration work including stucco application or rebar installation is a plus. Ability to operate woodworking machines or CNC equipment for fabrication tasks is advantageous.
