Execute interior and exterior residential and commercial painting using brushes, rollers, paint sprayers (including airless spray), and conventional spray techniques while adhering to safety regulations. Interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and construction plans to accurately carry out projects. Perform structural painting tasks such as stucco application, masonry finishing, or coating surfaces for durability and aesthetic appeal. Carry out carpentry duties including trim installation, frame carpentry, drywall repair, fixture installation, and renovation work. Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for tasks like framing, plastering, caulking, or concrete finishing. Follow safety protocols diligently by wearing respiratory protection and adhering to all safety regulations on-site to maintain a safe working environment. Assist with site preparation by interpreting schematics, managing surface preparation for construction painting projects, and ensuring all work aligns with blueprint specifications. Support restoration projects by performing maintenance tasks such as drywall repair or masonry work as needed. Skills Strong knowledge of construction estimating processes and ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics. Expertise in various painting techniques including brush painting, roller painting, construction spray painting (including airless paint spraying), and industrial coating applications. Proficiency in carpentry skills such as trim carpentry, frame carpentry, fixture installation, and renovation work. Experience with surface preparation methods like plastering, caulking, sanding, and masonry finishing for durable results. Familiarity with safety regulations related to construction sites including respiratory protection protocols and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Ability to use hand tools (e.g., hammers, saws) and power tools (e.g., drills, sanders) efficiently while maintaining safety standards. Knowledge of color theory for achieving precise color matching during painting projects. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations involved in construction estimating and layout work. Experience working on construction sites with a focus on remodeling, restoration, or maintenance projects in residential or commercial settings.
