Description Position Summary:
The Carpenters construct, repair or modify building systems to include metal framed partitions, doors/frame/hardware, drywall, flooring, ceiling systems, millwork, and concrete work.
Role and Responsibilities:
Regular attendance at assigned location that may include office or other project sites
Follow blueprints and building plans to meet the needs of clients
Measure, cut, install metal studs, drywall, wood blocking, ceilings, flooring, formwork, and other materials
Lifting and moving objects and construction materials intermittently or on a continuous basis
Layout and construct building frameworks, including walls, floors, ceilings, and door systems.
Help erect, level, and install building framework with the aid of rigging hardware and cranes
Inspect and replace damaged framework, structures, or fixtures, with minor demolition
Qualifications Essential Skills & Characteristics:
Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Follow plans and instructions from supervisors or more experienced workers
Strict adherence to all safety rules and quality
Participate in site housekeeping
Safely operate multiple types of power tools
Interact with all co-workers and clients in an attentive courteous manner
Perform additional duties as directed by Management
Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's)
At times may perform clerical/administrative duties
Educational & Experience Requirements:
High School Diploma or relevant work experience
5 years of field experience
