Duties Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately execute installation tasks. Measure, cut, assemble, and install interior and exterior woodwork including cabinetry, doors, siding, trim, flooring, and moldings. Operate hand tools and power tools for woodworking with precision and safety compliance. Install fixtures such as cabinets, doors, hardware, and water damage restoration components with attention to detail. Follow construction plans meticulously while adhering to safety protocols for power tool use and heavy lifting. Collaborate with team members on site to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Skills Proficient in reading blueprints, construction plans, and technical drawings for accurate project execution. Extensive experience with residential carpentry including trim work, cabinet installation, door hanging, flooring, siding, and framing. Skilled in the use of hand tools such as saws, chisels, hammers; power tools including drills, saws for woodworking; CNC machinery is a plus. Strong understanding of power tool safety standards and best practices for woodworking machines. Ability to interpret technical specifications related to wood construction materials like drywall, siding materials, metal studs, etc. Capable of heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during fixture installation or remodeling tasks.
