Construction work attire Safe work environment 1 HQ 1 Satellite Office in Boston We are looking for an experience in carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in interior and exterior rough and finish faming and carpentry. You will be able to accurately measure, cut, and assemble materials to create high-quality finished products. Our ideal candidate has their own truck for transportation. A key quality to this role will be a leader in their role and be able to share that knowledge with other team members and guide them in finishing projects efficiently and efectively. The successful candidate will also have a keen eye for detail and be able to work with a variety of materials. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to hone their craft and develop their skills in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Leadership qualities and initiative Team builder Measure and cut wood to specified sizes and shapes. Assemble wood pieces to form structures and objects. Install trim, molding, and cabinets. Install doors, windows, and other fixtures. Sand and finish surfaces to a smooth finish. Use power tools such as saws, drills, routers, sanders, etc. Selecting lumber by size and strength to suit each job, sourcing wood to suit the customer's budget and style Calculating the number of fasteners required for each job Liaising with clients, suppliers and other construction professionals Reading blueprints and designs to work to specifications prepared by other construction professionals, architects and building code recommendations Preferably has
HIC or CSL Job Types:
