Experienced Carpenter — Lockwood Construction Lockwood Construction has been building and renovating homes in Brookline and Greater Boston for over 40 years. We're growing, and we're looking for an experienced carpenter who takes pride in doing the work right.

Pay:

$35.00 - $45.00 per hour, based on experience. What We Offer Health insurance with employer contribution toward your plan Annual tool allowance: $1,000 6 paid company holidays Paid Christmas week (2 weeks after your second year) Full-time, steady work — Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM The Work Whole-house renovations, additions, and light commercial projects across the Brookline / Greater Boston area. You'll be doing real carpentry — framing, trim, cabinetry — not just labor.

Core carpentry skills:

Wall and floor framing — layout and execution Exterior siding and trim, all phases Interior trim installation, all phases Door and window installation, including flashing Hanging kitchen cabinets — layout, leveling, and troubleshooting room discrepancies Fabricating paint-grade cabinets and built-ins Also expected: Safe, efficient use of all required tools, ladders, and scaffolding Installing hardware and accessories to spec What We're Looking For 5+ years of carpentry experience Reliable vehicle Physically able to meet the demands of the job, including ladder and staging work A team player who shows up on time and communicates well What You'll Bring to the Crew Setting a good example for the team, regardless of others' skill level Taking initiative to solve problems and keep quality high Supporting the Lead Carpenters in keeping the jobsite clean, organized, and safe Submitting accurate weekly timesheets and staying responsive to calls/texts/emails from the project team
