Urgently Hiring! Building Maintenance Worker/Carpenter Our renovation company is looking for a Carpenter/Building Maintenance worker to join our team as soon as possible. We have a network of clients always in need of various tasks that require attention, motivation, and efficiency. We need a person with experience in the field who can think outside of the box and has interpersonal skills to communicate with the team and our clients. The ideal candidate will have his or her own vehicle and tools. Most work is on-site in Cambridge, though we have a facility for pre-fab carpentry when the job calls for it in Medford. Requirements:

Minimum age of 18. High school education or equivalent. Physically able to do the work. U.S. citizen or proof of legal residency. Pass substance abuse screening.

Job Duties:

Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures and fixtures. Select and evaluate materials for defects. Measure, cut, or shape wood, plastic, fiberglass, drywall, and other materials. Install cabinets, counters and molding. Construct building frameworks, including wall studs, floor joists, and doorframes. Install structures and fixtures, such as windows and molding. Maintain timecard for daily work and document actions.

Qualifications and Skills:

1+ years' experience in finish carpentry. Extensive knowledge of power tools, including skill saw, miter saw and jigsaw. Possession of basic hand tools and reliable transportation to job sites. Capable of climbing on ladders and carrying at least 60 pounds. Attention to Detail Problem Solving Skills Physical Strength/Endurance Interpersonal Skills and Adaptability to new tasks.
