Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced carpenter to join our team, with experience in all facets of carpentry work from framing to finish. We offer competitive salary ($35-$50 per hour based on experience) and benefits, working for a top notch company that has been building projects in Berkshire County for the past 50 years on new ground up projects and renovation projects. Duties Interpret and follow detailed construction plans, blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute carpentry tasks. Framing, siding, demolition, finish carpentry, some small scale shingle roofing, batt insulation, small scale concrete work, drywall hanging, cabinet installation, hardwood flooring, window/door installation, and acoustical ceilings. Utilize basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and material estimations during project planning and execution. Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times while performing heavy lifting or working at heights; maintain a clean and organized work environment Strong knowledge of construction management principles and site safety procedures. Skilled in reading blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and construction plans accurately. Proficiency with hand tools such as saws, hammers, chisels; power tools including drills, saws, grinders; tape measure; heavy equipment operation is a plus. Basic math skills necessary for dimensional measurements; familiarity with schematics essential for interpreting technical instructions. Demonstrated ability to work independently or as part of a team on diverse construction sites with varying scopes of work.
Pay:
$35.00 - $50.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
