Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead Carpenter Foreman to oversee and coordinate construction projects within the residential custom home sector. This role involves managing skilled carpenters and construction crews, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. The ideal candidate will possess a background in carpentry, leadership skills, and experience reading blueprints and schematics. As a Lead Carpenter Foreman, you will serve as the primary point of contact on-site, driving quality control, safety compliance, and efficient workflow to deliver exceptional results. Duties Lead and supervise carpentry teams and subcontractors across multiple construction sites, ensuring adherence to project schedules and safety standards. Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to accurately execute construction tasks aligned with project specifications. Review construction drawings and schematics for accuracy; oversee quality control measures to meet industry standards. Manage site safety protocols in compliance with OSHA regulations and federal construction safety standards; conduct regular safety inspections. Oversee procurement of materials with GC daily. Facilitate effective communication among GC, project stakeholders including clients, architects, subcontractors, and management teams to ensure seamless project execution. Qualifications Proven experience in residential construction with a background in carpentry supervision or finish carpentry. Demonstrated ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately. Understanding of OSHA regulations and federal construction safety requirements; experience implementing safety programs on-site. Pay:
$35.00 - $45.00 per hour
