The ideal candidate will have a strong background in residential carpentry, framing, and trim work, with the ability to interpret construction plans and utilize power tools effectively. This role involves working on various wood construction projects, ensuring quality craftsmanship and adherence to safety standards. Responsibilities Read and interpret construction plans and blueprints to accurately execute carpentry tasks. Perform framing work for residential structures, including wall, floor, and roof framing. Carry out trim carpentry, including installation of moldings, baseboards, door casings, and other finish work. Use power tools for woodworking tasks safely and efficiently. Work with various wood construction materials to build, install, and repair structures. Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and meet quality standards. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols and procedures. Skills Proven experience as a Journeyman Carpenter with expertise in residential carpentry. Proficiency in using power tools for woodworking tasks. Strong knowledge of construction plans and the ability to interpret technical drawings. Skilled in trim carpentry and frame carpentry techniques. Familiarity with wood construction materials and their proper application. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Commitment to safety standards and best practices in construction sites.
Pay:
