In this role, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, repairing, and maintaining structures and fixtures using a variety of hand and power tools. Duties Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to execute projects accurately. Operate hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment, and specialized machinery safely and efficiently. Measure dimensions accurately using tape measures and other tools; perform dimensional measurements for framing and finishing tasks. Execute heavy lifting tasks safely while maintaining proper technique; assist in site cleanup and material handling. Interpret construction plans and schematics to determine project requirements; collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines. Conduct quality checks on completed work to ensure standards are met. Support construction management by adhering to schedules, safety protocols, and site regulations throughout each phase of the project. Experience Proven experience in carpentry or related construction roles with a strong understanding of building techniques. Proficiency with hand tools such as saws, hammers; power tools including drills and saws; heavy equipment operation preferred. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining physical stamina for demanding tasks. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations essential for precise craftsmanship. Familiarity with safety procedures on construction sites to ensure a secure working environment at all times.
