A Carpenter builds and repairs wood frameworks or structures for houses and buildings, or builds and installs wood cabinets, furniture or other fixtures. May specialize in residential, commercial or industrial carpentry.
We are looking for a highly motivated experienced skilled carpenter. Candidates must be able to work in a variety of environments. This will include commercial and residential. From a Cannabis factory to a church; a small bathroom to a 2500sq ft addition. Facelift Remodeling Inc. prides ourselves on honest, quality work. Basic Job Description:
Work on commercial and residential properties. Able to build from the ground up; able to work with others as well as be independent; adapt to get the job done in a safe and quality manner. Must have basic hand tools, nail bag, and tool belt. If you do not have a tool belt full of tools, drills, saws, etc. you are not a skilled carpenter.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
Extensive rough and finish carpentry skills A good working knowledge of related building trades. Able to read and follow blueprints and building documents. Tile, concrete, block, and painting experience is a
BIG PLUS.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Work with blueprints and instructions to get the job complete. Frame walls with wood and metal studs Cut, hammer, drill, screw (be a carpenter)
MUST BE ABLE TO READ A TAPE WITHOUT NUMBERS ON IT
Fix, adjust, tear down (while cussing) to fix a mistake Use levels, rulers, plumb bobs, framing squares, and surveying equipment to ensure everything is level and secure Create structures for molding concrete Build scaffolding Install cabinets, trim, vanities in a level clean fashion Install tile in a neat, clean, flush and level fashion Be able to build from the ground up. Participate in any required meetings as directed. Preform additional duties as assigned Must have own transportation and tools. We proved all large items but must have all hand tools.
