Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Remodeling Contractor to lead and execute a wide range of renovation projects. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of remodeling jobs, from initial planning and blueprint interpretation to final installation and finishing touches. Your expertise in construction management, building material installation, and technical craftsmanship will ensure each project is completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. Responsibilities Manage remodeling projects from start to finish, including planning, scheduling, and coordinating subcontractors and suppliers. Perform or supervise the installation of various building components such as windows, doors, cabinets, flooring, tile, drywall, stucco, and roofing. Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for tasks like framing, trim carpentry, masonry, concrete finishing, and fabrication. Conduct construction inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and project specifications. Oversee the installation of plumbing systems, electrical wiring (including schematics), HVAC components, and other mechanical systems. Ensure quality control through detailed construction inspection and adherence to blueprints and technical schematics. Maintain detailed documentation of project progress, change orders, inspections, and safety protocols. Requirements Hands-on experience with building material installation including drywall, flooring (tile and hardwood), masonry, roofing, stucco, plastering, and concrete finishing. Skilled in carpentry disciplines such as frame carpentry, trim carpentry, door hanging, cabinet installation, window installation, and door hardware. Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in construction sites; experience operating heavy equipment is a plus. Electrical experience including interpreting schematics and wiring diagrams; plumbing skills are also highly desirable. Strong understanding of safety protocols related to construction site operations. Excellent communication skills for coordinating teams and liaising with clients or project managers.
