As a Carpenter Apprentice, you will assist in various construction tasks, learn essential carpentry skills, and contribute to the successful completion of projects. Hourly pay rate will be based on experience. Responsibilities Assist experienced carpenters in the installation of trim, framing, windows, doors and other aspects of home building and renovations Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Help with construction estimating and project planning as required. Perform heavy lifting and material handling duties as needed. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working atmosphere. Qualifications Basic knowledge of carpentry techniques is preferred but not required. Experience with basic mathematics, reading a tape measure, level etc. Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the day. Familiarity with hand tools and power tools commonly used in carpentry. Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn from experienced professionals. Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Must be reliable, punctual, and committed to completing tasks efficiently.
