Job Description

Overview We are seeking a motivated and skilled Carpenter/Shelving Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing custom shelving, and wire shelving solutions across residential and commercial spaces. Your expertise in carpentry and woodworking will help transform spaces with precision and craftsmanship. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing your technical skills and attention to detail to deliver exceptional results. Duties Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation of shelving, cabinetry, and other wood fixtures Use hand tools and power tools for woodworking, including saws, drills, sanders, and nail guns, ensuring safe and efficient operation Measure spaces accurately and cut materials precisely to fit specifications for various installation projects Install shelving units Perform heavy lifting of construction materials and fixtures safely while adhering to power tool safety standards Conduct site assessments to prepare surfaces for installation or restoration work; including caulking, reinstallation of fixtures, or restoration industry tasks such as drywall repair or re-stuccoing Collaborate with project managers and clients to ensure the timely completion of projects while maintaining high quality standards Requirements Proven experience in residential carpentry Ability to read construction plans and technical drawings accurately Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in woodworking and construction site work Knowledge of wood construction materials melamine shelving Strong understanding of power tool safety protocols and proper handling techniques Experience working on construction sites with a focus on safety regulations and procedures Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting, bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in measuring and fitting components precisely Prior experience in the restoration industry or fixture installation is advantageous Join our team if you're passionate about craftsmanship and eager to contribute your carpentry expertise! Pay:
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 35.0 - 50.0 per week
