Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and skilled Concrete Carpenter to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing precise concrete-related tasks that form the backbone of various construction projects, including commercial, residential, and renovation sites. Your expertise will help ensure the durability, safety, and aesthetic appeal of concrete structures. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a dedicated team on diverse projects that challenge your craftsmanship and technical skills. Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute concrete projects. Prepare and set up forms using carpentry skills such as frame carpentry, metal stud framing, and concrete forming techniques. Mix, pour, and finish concrete with precision using hand tools, power tools, and concrete pumps to achieve smooth surfaces and proper structural integrity. Install rebar reinforcement (rebar installation) to strengthen concrete structures according to specifications. Operate heavy equipment such as concrete mixers, pumps, and other machinery safely and efficiently on construction sites. Perform finishing tasks including troweling, caulking, plastering, stucco application, and flooring installation to meet quality standards. Collaborate with team members on renovation projects or restoration efforts involving masonry, tile laying, roofing, or metal framing. Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and quality standards while maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge related to construction tools and equipment operation. Proven experience in construction estimating and understanding project scope requirements. Expertise in rebar installation, concrete finishing, and form building techniques. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, heavy lifting equipment, and heavy machinery safely. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately for precise execution of tasks. Knowledge of masonry techniques such as stucco application and tile laying; experience with restoration projects is a plus. Familiarity with roofing systems, caulking procedures, trim carpentry, framing (including metal stud framing), and flooring installation. Experience operating heavy equipment like mixers or cranes; commercial driving skills are advantageous. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail on complex projects. Strong understanding of construction safety protocols and site-specific procedures for diverse environments.
