Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking skilled and motivated Framing Carpenters to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for constructing the structural framework of buildings, including walls, floors, and roofs, using a variety of materials such as wood, metal, and other framing components. Your expertise will help bring architectural plans to life, ensuring precision and quality at every stage. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from residential to commercial structures, in a fast-paced environment that values craftsmanship and safety. Duties Read and interpret detailed construction plans, blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute framing projects. Measure and mark dimensions on materials using tape measures, rulers, and other hand tools to ensure precise cuts and fits. Construct wall frames, floor systems, roof trusses, and other structural components with dimensional measurements aligned with project specifications. Operate power tools such as saws, drills, nail guns, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently to assemble framing structures. Install metal building frameworks including metal studs and framing components for commercial or industrial projects. Perform metal building erection tasks and assist with concrete forming, rebar installation, and masonry work as needed. Maintain a clean worksite by organizing materials, disposing of debris responsibly, and adhering to safety protocols at all times. Requirements Proven experience in frame carpentry with a strong understanding of construction plans and technical schematics. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for cutting, measuring, assembling, and finishing framing components. Ability to interpret blueprints accurately and translate them into physical structures on-site. Knowledge of metal stud framing, metal building erection, concrete forming, rebar installation, plastering, stucco application, and masonry techniques is highly desirable. Experience with construction site safety procedures and heavy equipment operation is preferred. Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting, working at heights or in confined spaces; ability to stand for extended periods. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations essential for precise construction work. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with other trades such as welding or restoration specialists. Pay:
$18.00 - $40.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
