Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated apprentice to join our team of skilled tradesmen who are dedicated to making clients' dreams come true. The apprentice assists construction tradespeople to accomplish project work while learning and gaining hands-on experience. Duties Assists in all aspects of project delivery: Carpentry, demolition, cleanup, and misc. project tasks as required for job completion. Works to prepare construction sites, including loading, unloading and clean-up of site. Receives materials and supplies and places on job site in appropriate manner. Maintains the confidentiality of information about the jobs and clients we serve. Upholds the quality, service and safety standards of Construction Design Services, Inc. Ensures safety of employees, visitors, and workers on the construction site. Assumes responsibility to adhere to OSHA standards and to report all preventable hazards and unsafe practices immediately to management. Qualifications Must have 3-5 years of experience in building trades. Must have active driver's license Basic knowledge or experience in frame carpentry is preferred but not required. Ability to follow direction and work in a team environment Willingness to learn to read blue prints Carpentry, demolition, and basic trade knowledge Current driver's license Ability to operate both heavy equipment and hand held tools Fitness to lift and carry and work in an environment that is exposed to noise or fumes that might require the use of protective equipment Typical construction environments that can be exposed to the elements
Further Job Details Overtime:
6 half-day Saturdays required Additional overtime is available

$16.00 - $25.00 per hour
