Chelsea, Michigan Horizon Kitchen & Bath is seeking an experienced Lead Carpenter to join our growing remodeling team. We specialize in thoughtfully designed kitchens and bathrooms where craftsmanship, attention to detail, and client experience matter. Our projects focus on quality rather than volume, and we are looking for a professional who takes pride in running an organized, efficient jobsite. About the Role The Lead Carpenter will manage day-to-day operations on residential remodeling projects. This includes coordinating subcontractors, maintaining jobsite organization, ensuring quality workmanship, and communicating progress with the owner and clients. This position is ideal for a skilled carpenter who enjoys both hands-on work and leading a jobsite. Responsibilities Lead and manage residential kitchen and bathroom remodeling projects Perform high-quality carpentry work including framing, cabinetry installation, trim work, finish carpentry, tile installation, & fixture installation Coordinate subcontractors and deliveries Maintain clean, safe, and organized jobsites Communicate project progress and any challenges with the project owner Ensure work meets Horizon Kitchen & Bath standards of craftsmanship, and calendar goals Qualifications 7+ years of residential carpentry experience Strong knowledge of remodeling construction methods Ability to read plans and layout work accurately Experience coordinating subcontractors and project schedules Professional attitude and good communication skills Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Compensation Competitive hourly wage based on experience (typically $30-$40/hour) Consistent year-round work Benefits Paid time off and holidays Company retirement plan with employer matching Monthly health benefit stipend Opportunity to grow within a respected remodeling company About Horizon Kitchen & Bath Horizon Kitchen & Bath specializes in custom kitchen and bathroom remodeling for homeowners who value thoughtful design and quality craftsmanship.
