Job Description Role and Responsibilities Installs walls, floors, ceilings, and roofs using materials such as: wood, of multiple materials. Fits and installs window frames, doors, door frames, door hardware, interior and exterior trim using a carpenters level, and laser levels. Builds or repairs cabinets, doors, frameworks, floors, other wooden fixtures used in buildings, using hand tools or power tools. Erects ladders for assembling structures above ground levels. Cuts and shapes structures, forms, or other fixtures from wood, or drywall. Ensures the accuracy of work by checking completed projects with tools such as levels, surveying equipment, or framing squares; corrects problems as needed. Performs other duties as assigned. __________________________________________________________________________________________ Qualifications and Education Requirements Must be 18 years of age. Minimum of 2 years of carpentry experience required. Experienced with all residential aspects of construction required. Must have worked for another builder. Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (i.e., standing for long periods of time, heavy lifting up to 60lbs+ continuously. Must be knowledgeable in all types of carpentry. (i.e., siding, remodel, kitchens, trim, door installs, framing, etc.) Capable of receiving and following instructions. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Must have hands on work experience and not just a lead or supervisor roles. __________________________________________________________________________________________ Additional Notes Must have valid drivers license and reliable transportation. Most tools will be provided. Items expected for applicant to have are a tool belt, hammer, and tape measurer. Jobs can vary from extensive remodeling, additions, custom homes, roofing, siding, window installs, door installs, trim work, and other various projects. Hours of operation : 6:30am-3:30pm
